A few more layouts!

Feeling much better today! I worked on some challenges at Funky Playground Designs and these are the layouts I came up with. Not as ‘wild’ about the Nosy Princess but I like it well enough…

Summer’s Awesome Silence showcases a pic I took during a party we had on Labor Day Weekend. The party was at John’s friend, Mikey’s, sisters house a little north of here. Just loved the feel of it. The early evening light was gorgeous out there. Kit is Mochalatte by Purplecolorz at FPD. And the moss and orange beads are from Summer Mood by BL Design. I used a template at Pencil Lines, found here.

And this one of Cuddles is another from our morning photo session yesterday. I LOVE THIS PIC OF HIM! He’s just beautiful isn’t he?? Kit is the Birdhouse Rock Collab by Digital Couture and Jen Yurko…can’t find the download, but I was pretty sure it was at FPD. Pinks were recolored to match the color theme I needed…

And this one! The pics were so funny because our nosy little Snuggles snuck into the room while we were painting and sniffed the paint lid, that naughty little girl! So cute, though! For this one I also used a retired kit from FPD. It was by Lauraskathi…I LOVE HER KITS! I was lucky enough to buy them all in a Buy Her Store event back in July. I treasure those suckers!

Okay, am working on some downloads for two Divine Digital Exclusive Kits I have coming out this next week, so keep a look-out!

Layouts

Well, today I went to a Marching Band competition to watch John’s nephew compete for our old High School. We took first in everything…and apparently we won state last year. We rock. And even more interesting is that the Band director is my buddy’s little bro…who is not quite so little anymore! He’s, like, 33! Regardless, just got home.

Feeling a little sick, so I think I shall just post two layouts I worked on today…

Since I’m a designer and a coordinator for the Last Scrapper Standing at DD, I can’t enter, but I thought it would be fun to try some of the challenges…Soooo…color and nature are my muse. I didn’t use DD products because I don’t have many besides mine, but I instead used a kit by Fanette and Sev at Digital Crea called Delight Colors. The kit is retired but both designers are there and they are both great! I have several kits by both!

My adorable cat, Cuddles, sitting in the window with his sister, Snuggles, enjoying the morning sun. Kit is The Air of Time by Ptitesouris at Digital Crea. Sun alpha is Baby on Board by Kristin Cronin-Barrow at the Sweet Shoppe. Both the kit and the Alpha is fantastic. Unfortunately, the kit has ALSO been retired…apparently, I got a great deal on the soon-to-be-retiring items LOL.

Anyway, really not feeling well so, shall watch some Blackadder and maybe go to bed.

Layouts!

This weekend I worked on several special Divine Digital projects and got almost 2 kits done! They will be released in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out! I will post a sneak peek in the coming week…

Today I worked on previews for one of the kits and this evening, I worked on layouts! I was so excited because I purchased several beautiful kits at After Five Designs and here are a few layouts from two of them!

I love birds and several years back, a year or two after I moved to Portland, I was visiting the gardens one early April morning after the rain and took several beautiful photos with my old Canon. For this layout I used the Collaborative kit, Time Flies, at After Five Designs which is free with a $10 purchase right now! Best deal EVER. It’s huge and beautiful!

Another of the gardens that day. Portland is known for it’s abundance of flowers and gardens and this is one of the most beautiful! The kit used on this layout was called Euphoria by Kristen Rice. It’s on sale right now!

Well, I suppose it’s getting late and I have to take Snuggles in to get her spayed in the morning…poor little boo boo…little does she know. I’m sure going to miss her while she’s gone. She won’t be coming back until wednesday morning…

Layout and a little news

Well, today I spent most of the day making a new kit that will be released in a few weeks! I got a color swatch from Royanna and went to town and it took on a life of it’s own. I’m really loving it. So beautiful, bold and colorful! It will be a Divine Digital Exclusive so keep your eyes peeled! I’ll post a sneak peek in a week or two!

Also, I have two charity collabs coming out soon. I will post my preview and a link to the store once they are released…I love doing charity collabs, so look for more in the future.

And this morning I managed to get one layout done. An ode to my beautiful hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan!

This one was made using the Download-A-Day kit featured HERE at Digital Design. It is by Cinda’s Digital Compilations, RoseMadeDesigns and Scrappin’ Mommy. It isn’t available in the thread anymore, but is now available at their boutiques! So check it out! Gorgeous stuff!

Layouts!

I made some layouts to post at FPD today and this one was a scraplift of THIS layout by MichelleFilo at 2peasinabucket.com. I used a kit called Familiar Times by Valorie Brown at FPD but I do believe that it has been retired. Thank goodness I got it before that happened, because I LOVE IT!

A rainbow I took outside our house last month. I did this one for the FPD font challenge. We were to use a quote as the title. The kit is Remembering You by Corina Nielsen at FPD. The colors of this kit are spectacular! And it’s on sale for only 50 cents!
